Step-by-step Process

A simple phone call or email is all it takes to get the process started. Or, if you’re in the neighbourhood, feel free to pop in. Either way, an Alcoil owner - Gill or Wendy - will take your details and have one of our experienced estimators contact you the same day, ringing up until 8:30 p.m., to book an appointment.

One of our friendly estimators – Alcoil owner David or industry veteran Keith – will make an appointment to visit your home and provide you with a no-obligation estimate at your earliest convenience. We treat appointments as such – if we say 10 a.m., we will be there at 10 a.m., or ring to advise you if we are delayed. We do not expect our clients to wait around for large, vague periods of time.

Our estimator conducts an inspection of the property and takes an accurate measurement. He then sits down with you to answer questions and go through the various system options, including colour choices and gutter profiles. Based on that discussion, a written quote is issued for your consideration.

If you decide to proceed, you make a second phone call to schedule installation. You will not generally be asked for a deposit, nor will you need to wait weeks – or months – for installation. Our team will install your gutter system within 1-14 days of your call. And we do not ask for payment until the job is completed.

Our installation team arrives at the appointed day and time. We quickly and safely remove the existing gutter, and install the new one. We clean up after ourselves, and take the old gutter away for recycling leaving you with no mess and no bother.

Installation of most properties single storey homes is complete within one working day and we offer a 6 year warranty on all installations.

Only after the work is complete do we accept payment. We provide a tax invoice, either at the time of instalment or electronically, according to client preference. Clients are welcome to pay by cash, check, credit card or EFTPOS.

You will receive a certificate issued by the Plumbing Industry Commission, guaranteeing the work performed by our plumber, within the week. If an issue arises, call us – we will be happy to investigate the issue and provide any appropriate assistance.
